DAY 1 : MARRAKECH – HIGH ATLAS MOUNTAINS - KASBAH OF AIT BEN HADDOU- BOUMALNE DADES. 6 HOURS DRIVE. 320 KILOMETERS:
Your tour driver will pick up at 8 AM from your Hotel in Marrakech and drive through the spectacular landscape of the High Atlas Mountains. Here the roads via Tizi N’Tichka pass are often steep and the views are amazing. After 3 hours driving through the Mountains, you will get to Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here you will stop for one hour to visit this kasbah and learn about ancient berber earthen clay architecture, and films that were shot here in this site, such as Gladiator, Game of Thrones and many more. After sightseeing at this Kasbah, you will have lunch in a nearby restaurant, before heading to Ouarzazate, in Ouarzazate you can visit Atlas Film Studios if you are interested. In the morning after breakfast at your cozy Riad, meet your professional tour driver, and journey to Todra Gorges and its stunning oasis filed of palm groves. Here you will stop for one hour enjoying a nice walk deep in the gorges, and atmosfer of the oasis.
